Designer King - Super & Palatial Size Down Comforters
No longer does your master suite have to 'get by' with a small comforter that does not give you adequate coverage on the sides or the foot of the bed. These Super down comforter sizes - called 'designer kings' are used in only the finest master suites due to their extra large proportions. We offer two core sizes available in two filling warmth and weight options. The Super King size down comforter measures 120 x 98 and offers extra width to prevent the issue of 'comforter stealing' by your partner. The Palatial King size down comforter measures 118 x 114 inches and offers the same width support plus the bonus of a really long foot length. The Palatial Size works really good for bed frames that do not use a footboard and you want to 'hide' the front of the bed from being visible.
The comforter is enveloped in a silky soft, 350 thread count cotton sateen fabric. Both sizes are filled with Hypoallergenic 600 fill power White Goose Down in two weight levels (Warm and Warmer). Select the warm if you live in the south or plan to use with a duvet cover. Select the warmer if you live in the north and do not plan to use a duvet cover.

This style comforter is commercial machine washable and dryable (Due to their size - these are the biggest comforters we make - you may in fact want to have a professional service wash and dry the comforter in their commercial size machines).We do not recommend pre-washing it and instead suggest using it right away for maximum enjoyment (you can always add a duvet cover later on if you really want one). Last year I saw the previous version of this comforter for sale online in the clearance section. I meant to buy it then, but finally needed the 118 x 114 size for my huge bed. This item must have changed because the price was about double what it was last year. I can't say enough nice things about this comforter as it covers my entire bed and is so nice and smooth.

I bought a comforter years ago at Linens'N'Things and learned it was made by downlite. It was a specially sized 120x98 comforter and our dog had an accident recently.
