What Is A King Size Comforter?
King size comforters generally measure 102 x 86 plus or minus a couple inches. King bed comforters are designed to fit on a king mattress/bed frame. In addition to standard king sizes we have oversized king and super king as well. Some consumers choose to buy a small king on sale and use it on a queen size bed. Generally we recommend adding a duvet protector to make care and maintenance easier. Always be sure to buy a cover that is plus or minus two inches in size of the comforter. It is better that the comforter be slightly tighter in a duvet. For fine fabrics such as high thread count sateens, intricate damasks or batiste we advise to skip duvets simply because you will not see or feel the amazing fabric.
