What Is A Queen Size Comforter?
Queen size comforters generally measure 90 x 90 plus or minus a couple inches. Queen bed comforters are designed to fit on a queen mattress/bed frame. In addition to standard queen sizes we have oversized queen and super queen as well. Some stores carry a full/queen which can range from a really small queen to a oversized queen.
Most retail stores and catalogs carry queen size comforters through the year with more down filled options being available in the fall.
Should I buy a Queen Duvet Cover?
Generally we recommend adding a duvet protector to make care and maintenance easier. Always be sure to buy a cover that is plus or minus two inches in size of the comforter. It is better that the comforter be slightly tighter in a duvet. For fine fabrics such as high thread count sateens, intricate damasks or batiste we advise to skip duvets simply because you will not see or feel the amazing fabric.
