What Is A Standard Pillow?
Standard size pillows measure 20 x 26 inches. These pillows are two inches shorter then a jumbo and 4 inches shorter then a queen. Many stores now only carry jumbo size and king size pillows to reduce the amount of space needed for all the versions consumers need. Sometimes retail stores will call jumbo bed pillows by this notation "Standard/Queen" - these are jumbo size. Standard bed pillows fit nicely on a twin bed and are often used in hotel rooms.
What Linens Fit Standard Pillows?
Standard pillows comfortably fit inside standard size pillow cases. Most sheets sets and duvet sets are designed to fit a jumbo size pillow - so you might have some excess room on the inside of the cover.
