We have specially designed this super soft pillow top featherbed to give a touch of home comfort for the dorm room. This featherbed will probably make you late for class as it features an easy care down alternative pillow top paired with a baffle box design (this means no big lumps of feathers).

A featherbed gives a completely different sleeping experience when compared to a mattress pad. The obvious difference is that the featherbed adds 3-5 inches of soft comfort compared to a one inch thick or less mattress pad. A mattress pad can still be used to cover up the dorm mattress you simply would place your featherbed on top of the mattress pad. You will want to make sure you have sheets with deep pockets. Most dorm mattress measure between 5 and 9 inches. So by adding our 3-5 inch featherbed you will want sheets with a 16 inch to 18 inch pocket size. We feature many deep pocket sheets specially designed for dorm room needs.
We also added some special touches to this feather bed to make it even better. For starters this featherbed features our SoftPlus® two layer fabric system - this means less issues with small feathers poking you or leaking. Second, this featherbed features an easy care poly cotton fabric with a silky touch. This smooth top layer fabric means it won't bunch when used with Jersey sheets popular in college rooms. Finally, this featherbed features a luxury blend of white goose feathers and down compared to cheaper store models using a 5/95 grey duck blend.
